Simone’s Story World
My creative motto is, "Everyone has a story that deserves to be told." I genuinely believe that at the end of the day, it's about how we, as creatives, tell somebody's story so that others listen. What's beautiful about filmmaking is that a story can be told using so many different tools. Cinematography, editing, production design, dialogue–– the possibilities of making a story absolutely captivating are endless! Creatives such as Shonda Rhimes, Jordan Peele, and Ava Duvernay are truly inspirational to me. They find ways to make these stories, THEIR stories. I remember being told that “There are only so many stories that we can tell, but at the end of the day, it’s about how we tell them.” When I close my eyes and envision my “film world,” I see a tapestry of diverse narratives woven together by unique perspectives. Every scene pulses with emotion and transcends creativity and human experience into something extraordinary. Through innovative storytelling and emotional depth, my art of storytelling becomes a timeless dance of imagination and expression. |
